Creating Community Resilience’s mission is to increase trauma-informed capacities in Douglas County. Early in CCR’s history, the collaborative created the Education & Outreach Committee to focus on community education around trauma-informed care and practices. The committee created the Lunch, Learn & Connect series to provide consistent opportunities for professionals and community members to learn about how to be trauma-aware and incorporate trauma-informed practices into their daily lives.
