CAPS exists to:

  • Promote Poverty Awareness - During the simulation, you will walk a month in the shoes of someone facing poverty whose basic needs are not being met: a single parent, elderly person, young adult with incarcerated parents, etc.

  • Increase Understanding & Inspire Local Change - After the simulation, you will unpack your learning and brainstorm community change.
